Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Portuguese law. Solely the Court of Lisbon shall have jurisdiction to settle any disputes arising from the interpretation and application of these Terms and Conditions for the use of this website.
General Conditions of Sale
The order and purchasing process is only possible after creating a customer account or guest form session on the online store, and the customer must follow the various sequential steps of the order process that will allow the purchase to be registered.
On completion of the order, the purchase will be recorded and if the payment method selected is MBWAY or ATM, there will be a set time limit for the payment of the order to be completed. After that time limit, if there is no confirmation of payment, the order will be cancelled. Some payment methods allow the recording of the data necessary to perform the payment transaction - namely PayPal and Credit Card (Mastercard or Visa). However, no personal data will be stored in this context, so the management of said data should be performed directly with the provider of the respective service.
Paying by credit card allows you to take advantage of the liquidity and payment terms your bank offers.
All transactions on our website are secure, and we emphasize once again that no data associated with the card will be stored, beyond its identification of the last four digits. The entity managing this payment method is Stripe.
Multibanco payments can be made through the Portuguese ATM network or through your Homebanking.
As soon as the order process is completed, an ATM reference will be generated. The customer will receive this reference in the order confirmation email.To make the payment at an ATM, you must select the option "Payment of Services/Purchases"; and enter the corresponding entity, reference and amount.
The order will typically be shipped within the next two business days after the order is paid.
Warning: since the bank reference generated for payment has a limited validity, failure to verify payment within such a period will result in the cancellation of the order.
Customers may proceed to pay for their orders via the MB WAY payment system. For this purpose, customers should select the MB WAY payment method during the order process and provide the mobile number associated with the MB WAY payment system, access their MB WAY application and follow the steps in the application to complete the payment. In the case that customers are unable to complete the process in the specified 5 minute time frame, please contact our customer service team for assistance
The order shipping process will start after confirmation of payment for the respective order.
Once the order is shipped, the customer will be notified via email with the assigned tracking number and a link that will allow tracking the order on the carrier's website.
Shipment information may take up to 24 hours, counted from the reception of the shipment confirmation, to be updated on the carrier's website without any liability being attributable to theALMOND.
Delivery times are different depending on the delivery destination of the order.
Orders are delivered Monday through Friday, except for local or national holidays, to the delivery address provided by the customer when placing the order.
Deliveries may occur on selected days during the summer period.
An incorrect or incomplete delivery address may result in the order being returned to theALMOND and lead to additional costs for the customer; therefore, it is recommended that the customer always make sure that the delivery address, indicated when registering the order, is indeed correct and complete.
Once the order has been registered it is not possible to change the invoice data. A delivery address cannot be changed by theALMOND, however, you can change your address by contacting our carrier, requesting to change it. This request should be made as soon as possible (within the carrier's delivery times).
TheAlmond entrusts the delivery of your orders to CTT. The shipping costs will be added to the value of your order, depending on the destination. TheAlmond offers shipping costs on purchases over 120€ for mainland Portugal.
1. After payment is successfully completed, you will receive an email from theAlmond with confirmation details of your purchase. At that point your order will begin to be processed and will typically be dispatched within the next two business days.
2. Once your order leaves our warehouse, you will receive an email notifying you of the shipment.
3. The moment your order arrives at the carrier's warehouse you will receive an email with your Tracking Number, the estimated day of delivery and a link where you can make any changes.
